A critical step in merging disparate data is gaining an intimate knowledge of each source. This required addressing differences in resolution, currentness, extent, categorical detail, classification system, and consistency. A summary of the data evaluation process is provided in the Methods document.

Results of the data evaluation process can be found in Table 1. Many data layers were evaluated, however this table only provides details for data that were used in the final product.
