Areas in color now indicate wildland oak maintained through the combined action of the General Plan and the acquisition strategy. By restricting development on these select few parcels we see a great improvement in connectivity between the north and south regions. Although not connected, these patches abut each other and re-establish an archipelago of wildland oak across the county.
